You can fight off zombies will all sorts of items but you're probably not considering that fruits could be useful in that regard. This game begs to differ by unlocking the true power that fruits possess. Without limbs, the fruits need to make do with their bodies and that means they're ready to sacrifice themselves to defeat the zombies. There are only so many fruits that can join each fight so you need to aim true so that no fruit's life ends in vain. The zombies may be so flabbergasted at the fruits flying at them that they're unable to move from their positions.
