Snake has a constant momentum and will always move in a straight line in whichever direction it is facing. It will automatically collect food by running into it and if it hits the edge of the screen, it will emerge from the opposite side. The only danger is if the Snake runs into its own body which instantly ends the game. The onscreen Arrow controls can be used by clicking on them with the mouse, causing the Snake to make an instant 90-degree turn.
